The University of Georgia Alumni Charlotte Chapter will also be there and we will be having a friendly competition to see which chapter can bring in the most canned food for the Second Harvest Foodbank of Metrolina. The alumni chapter that brings in the most food will win $200 towards future events. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity for networking, food, and fun!

2011 Carrier Classic – MSU vs UNC Basketball

On Veterans Day, Friday, November 11, 2011, the MSU Spartan Men’s Basketball Team will play the North Carolina Tarheels in the Carrier Classic, played before a special audience of men and women serving in the U.S. armed forces. Michigan State University is honored to take part in this game on the deck of the USS Carl Vinson, a Nimitz class supercarrier anchored in San Diego Bay.

Spartan Fund members within the following levels: Ambassadors, Champions Circle, and Scholarship Level may request travel packages including game tickets. Only individuals at the Ambassador, Champions Circle and Scholarship Level are eligible to request package information.

San Diego will truly be Green and White for Veterans Day weekend. MSU has planned a number of fun events surrounding the game. So, whether you have a game ticket or not, San Diego is the place to be for 11.11.11. Register early, we anticipate sell out events! Carrier Classic Events & More in San Diego
